is rtr 180 or pulsar 180 chain suitable for fazer/fz16

fazer/fz16 chain is endless riveted chain,so it is very very difficult to clean it without costly spray cleaner ,i want to change it with any chain with spring clip connecting link like in pulsar 180 or rtr 180.can we change fazer chain with pulsar180 or rtr 180 chain with or without sprocket.fazer secondary reduction ratio is 40/14(2.857),anybody knows rtr180 and pulsar 180 secondary reduction ratio

rtr180 have 46/14(3.2857) and pulsar have 42/15(2.80) secondary ratio so it is not good to change sprocket,but can we replace the chain only with rtr 180 or pulsar180 chain

I am not sure if changing the sprockets would be a good idea... However, if you spend some time with an old toothbrush, a little kerosene or diesel and some Auto-grease... you can get things done pretty cheap...
