Dude, I don't know what went wrong with the engine but I guess you are still covered under warranty.

I'm not sure what warranty Bajaj offers on its bikes but generally the crucial components like the engine etc. are covered for around 30k Kms or 2 years if not more.

So the best bet would be to take your bike to an authorized bajaj service center and claim the damages.

      Cheers!!

PS: I think there might have been a manufacturing defect in your bike as it could not handle those 140+ speeds. Btw...140+ is a little too much for the P220 (Anyone disagree with me?)
Signals which are timed for 50 Kmph are also timed for 100 Kmph :)

I cant understand what happen to your bike,do you change your oil regularly, service on period?Do you use full covered engine Guard? The bike surely can take abuses and the people here have proven it and so many have passed 30K kms mark without any engine problem.
And it may be manufacturing defect or may service guys spoiled the bike any way claim your warranty.

i am confident that speed, rippin it have nothing to do with it....
my bike is run arnd 13k kms, i guess i must have done 500 kms above 130kmph touching 145 constantly.... the roads i go on every day are not so crowded and 110~120 are often the speeds i go abt....

the only thing i keep in check is oil and the airfilter....

the reason for your bike going katapult must have been,
1.no oil... or repeated abuse with very low oil and finally killin with negligible oil quantity...
          2. manufacturing defect
