  • GS150R : Fuel Gauge issue

    Hi xbhp,

I am having 2010 Suzuki GS150R. It's been 7 months i brought this bike. Recently, i noticed the fuel gauge indications are not as good as it were earlier.

It blinks (Fill Fuel) even when the fuel knob is in ON.. I reported it to the service guys. They say it's rectified but the problem persists.

I can't get a clear status of fuel level in my bike..
    Help me out guys

    Thanks in advance..
    Sethu

All digital fuels gauges seem to be unable to show the exact quantity of fuel available but I don't think there any relation between the fuel meter and the fuel knob...

The sensor is inside the tank and that is what might be faulty..

Till now almost all brands have issues with digital fuel indicators...we should live with what we carve for (so called gizmos & hitech stuff)

My friends bike used to have similar problem, but it went a way after he filled a full-tank petrol for first time

the sensor that floats inside the tank seems to be faulty.
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.

#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.
