  • HID light & Self Starter Problem

Recently i Install HID Kit in My pulsar 180 UG4, Now Its About 1 Month.
    Here's the main problem starts.
When i switch on The HID light it goes off/on off/on off/on, then finally got on.. but now Days my bike's self doesn't working. When Showed to my Mechanic/Electrician. He Told that Light switch which is on handle and that Relay (Round Shape i think that is starter Relay Which is next to battery setup) is has gone bad. He Changed both of them then my problem solved.

But at night when I switch on HID light then Driving to My destination, turn Off the bike And this time The main problem is occurring. now when m trying To start The bike. it won't start. No click sound, nothing happen. but if i Connect the both Point (- n +) of Relay Directly then Self start working n engine starts without Touching The Self button.
When HID light is off bike is Doing Fine. no Problem of self starter or relay or battery at day or at night.

What you think what is The problem. Please help.

Change your charger the one which charges the battery to something which can give more power so it can take the HID load, also check for the main reason of battery drain out.

Also you can try push start by keeping your headlights off.

may be your battery is getting drained too fast as the battery charging rate is less than HID consumption.

but then it should not start even by manually touching the wires...

try to take it to a long ride in night with HID on, check if after riding for long duration, your battery is getting drained and your headlight turns off.

or u can check battery voltage with a voltmeter or multimeter.

using a multimeter, measure the battery voltage and charging current and HID consumption current at different RPMS, like 1200, 2000, 4000, 5000, 6000, etc...and post it. we are assuming that you are using a 35w HID.
