    CBZ Xtreme suggestion plz

    Guys, most of u maybe irritated by my post since i post every now & then about problems of my cbz xtreme but i have no other option

    My cbz xtreme has clocked only 9k kms. main problems that i was facing was vibration. vibration in handlebar & footpegs start at as low as 4k rpm & the whole bike vibrates after 7k rpm. after finishing 1k kms i started to open the throttle of my bike gradually & from that day till today the problem persists & after 3k kms it became severe. Again i started to experience tappet noise from 2k kms. but everytime mechanic adjusts it, it becomes loose again after couple of days but even after adjusting engine sounds like a 100000kms engine

    More information:
    * always used 10w30 castrol power1
    * always warmed up my engine before riding for atleast 2mins (rarely use choke)
    * done servicing after every 1k kms
    * oil changed @ 1k kms

    I live in Bangladesh. recently i mailed to HH about my problem since no one was able to solve this problem. then i got a call from the importer & they said its due to piston rings problems due to what i am experiencing vibration & engine noise.

    more information:
    * I never ever had sluggish pick up (always superb)
    * No white smoke observed from the silencer
    * Decent fuel efficiency
    * maintained run-in for 1k kms


    so my question is even if my piston rings r changed will my engine lasts longer?? do i have to change any other parts other than piston & rings??? i spend a lot in this bike for solving problems & this is my final effort to solve problem. thats why i need ur help i want a complete solution- no vibration no tappet noise....& it should have a long engine life

    never knew HH(hero motocorp) has such kind of engine that'll ruin my life completely

    plz guys help....

      UPDATE:
      got my bike.....
      i still dont know vibration exists in the upper rpm range or not since i didnt rev it over 6.5k. but vibration in handlebar appears @4k rpm.
      during engine breaking i'm getting a strange metal sound, dont know why is that

        ^^ What work was done on the bike? Could be if the rings have been replaced, then it could be due to that.

                  actually i raed somewhere in XBHP that these are temporary solution. do i have to rebore or anything else?? thats what was my concern though Mr. "pinaki" is continiously guiding me

                    Nothing to worry,If there is any problem with the cylinder or any other parts,then it could have found during the ring change,Normally,all things will be inspected carefully for fighting faults while doing these works. I had done the same and now running fine within any problems!

                      i am also experiencing also same problem. bike clocked 2000km experiences vibration at 4k and above. maintained run in for about 1000km. stranfge type metal sound at idling. always use to warm up bike for min 5 min and 5 to 10 min in winters with choke in winters. cbz xtreme is worst.

                        May be tappet prob or tensioner prob,most probably tappet adjusting will solve it.Take it to SVC and get it checked ASAP!

                          i've already got it checked that say its nothing. moreover most of them look like road mechanics who don't know anything

                            They will say nothing because they need to remove the engine to check it and its not an easy task,So insist them to do it,Dont you have other SVC's there? or tell them like this" If you are not going to solve this,then i will be senting a mail to HH" they will do it immediately. Try it!

                              bro try to solve your problem as hurry as you can, coz i spent lots of money to solve this problem....& continued till 9k kms from 2k kms
                              now i got new ring piston, continuing run-in...still having vibration exactly from 4k rpm. i'll have to wait till 500kms are finished....
                              my condition is like you, no trust on HH & no trust on CBZ X....unless my vibration problems are gone....
