  • Need help for doing up my shaolin

    Hi Folks!

I just purchased a used 98 model suzuki shaolin and i wanna do it up. I spoke to my local mech. who gave me an estimate of 10k which includes a new tank, new rims, chasis, engine and side panels painting, new mudguards, new wiring, new stickers, new cowl, etc. I am still confused since i wanna explore some more options. I live in malad located in subarban mumbai and i wanna know some good spare parts shops where i can get all shaolin spatres or a good mech who can make this bike into a brand new one for me. Plz help me guys.

      Congrats for the purchase!
some questions if you dont mind!
1.how much did you get it for?
2.does it have a working meter console? if yes, wats the odo reading?
      3.is it in stock condition?
you will be lucky if u find spares!
      some pics will be appreciated!

        I picked it for 11.5k
No the meter doesn't work and the odo reading is around 47k
Bike is in stock condition but i don't no about the engine
I wish that members here help me find the spares

        Thanks in advance

for all the above mentioned jobs you will have to shell out much more than 10k , not to mention the issue of spares

            Strongly agreed with kb100.

I'm assuming the prices with a little pesimism here...
            Tank - 2K
            Rims - 2K
            Chasis - 3K
Engine and side panels painting - 3K
            New mudguards - K
            New wiring + stickers, cowl - 2K

This is just 13K, forget the labor & this is without the ETC. Probably your mech is turning into a cash cow
