    GUYS please HELP !!!

i sold my HONDA shine, at the time when i sold my bike i handed over all the registration documents to him. . . and took the desired amount from him(that buyer). . . . that person told me that he will transfer my bike on his name. . you just sign on the vehicle transfer form of RTO . . so I signed it. . .

i GOT to know that. . . that bike is still runnin on the streets and on its RTO registration smartcard my name is there and that person has not yet transfered my bike on his name . .. so wht shall i do. .. it would create a problem if he dash/bang some one on the streets . . .

really confused wht can i do from my side . . .?? seems that person do not wanna invest amount in tranfer process.. so wht shall i do now . .

This is a very common problem. People in our country never bother to act legally. Sometimes the intention is to make money and sometimes it is to 'save' money. In either case, people are after money. They are so stupid that they don't realize the importance of following the rules.

Anyway, you can first ask the person whom you have sold your bike to to get it transferred to his name as soon as possible. If he doesn't agree to this, you can offer him half or full amount of money that would be required for transferring (including the RTO bribe),

In the worst case, you can threaten the person by saying that you will file a "vehicle stolen" FIR with the local police. That should teach him a lesson.
Signals which are timed for 50 Kmph are also timed for 100 Kmph :)

Nothing to worry, just get a sale deed agreement form. It WILL be available at any driving school too. Get that paper signed & submit to RTO. Your issues will be solved. Remember, you ideally had to submit that within 30 days of sale, but, you might be late, so inquire what's the procedure at the driving school as well.
