  • Help with Pulsar 180 UG4

    Hi to all fellow bikers,

I am facing a problem with my newly purchased pulsar 180 UG4. The bike stalls at lower rpms and even if I stop for 5 mins and I start the bike it again gives me the same problem even if the engine is hot.

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

      1) Check if ur fuel tap is working fine & supplying fuel to the carb
      2) Check the carb, float, jets for any dust accumulation
      3) Check for Engine oil levels & strange noises from the engine
      4) Check if both the spark plugs are ok.

      Do update us...

The quality of petrol or water in tank can also be the problem. Check this too.

I have experienced almost the same problem as yours'.
After it stalls, wobble the bike heavily by holding firmly the handle with one hand, and the hand rails with the other. and then see if it starts or not. (its a temporary cure)

Also, leme know if your p180 has got EUROGRIP tyres?
coz this particular lot of p180's have lower grade electrical wiring and spare parts.. :-/

Take it to your nearest service centre if you can, or else take it to the nearest mechanic.

If the solutions given by the users above don't work, then try the following.

          Get the ignition relay checked.

Mine got fused out, and this remained a mystery for about 5 months, and made me spend over 3K over this thing.

The ignition relay costs 73rs. ONLY!

Psst..: The cure for my problem was found on this very website only!! You should be glad you're here
