comon any one knows these rates

another thing theres is a great deal of kicking needed to be done before it acctaully starts......i take my words back of 3-4 kicks....coz morning i have a real ordeal kicking that bike........once its hot it does not give that much truble to start but once it gets cool or cold it just does not start.....

then i have to push it down a slope and start it on gear....

can anyone tell me wat all needs to be done.....the bikes run 52K KMS and i promised my friends that i will get her back to abso. reliable cond. and running again

I have used an HH Splendor for 8 years and gave it off when I had to go overseas. Basically it was flawless and i just got bored riding it. Absolutely no problems at all. Even at the end of 8 years it used to kick within 4 kicks when totally cold without the need of the choke. It was giving a solid mileage of over 60kmpl and the only things I had to change were the sprocket/chain set once and the tyres twice. It had run about 78K kms before I had to give it away. Nothing special in maintanence.

Are u sure it was not abused badly for it to be in this state?

I have owned 5 bikes till now, never has the coil in any of them gone broke as you have explained. I didn't even think of that possibility.

Good for u Nikhil. Keep us updated as and when you can.

Bike chokes almost to death while riding... but does not die

My 1yr old bike has got some weird problem that i've not faced on any bikes that I rode till date. If I cross 60kmph or 5k on the rev, bike starts to choke down and switch off but does not switch off ... its still gives a bumpy ride as though the fuel is almost out. but its not the fuel issue. been regularly servicing it at HH showroom where I bought it (Mekhri circle - Nikhi motors) and got no mod done except for fitting a dual horn with the tone module. initially when i bought the bike found that there was some electrical problem with the speed-o-meter, but later was fixed by the HH guys after I had a crash.

Recently I had serviced it when I completed 25000kms. The showroom guys changed the spark plug and told me that it was the issue for that complaint. but still I am facing the problem.

I personally have dug out and replaced parts on my 7yr old pulsar, but do not want to experiment on my Karizma yet. would like to know if anyone has faced such issue so It can help me fix this bike without the showroom guys charging me again with a lame excuse and a huge bill by replacing all my bike's parts one by one.

Man, the mistake u made was to trust the HH A.S.S completely. Give it to a good private mechanic and get his feedback on what needs repair. Get feedback from 3-4 mechanics if possible. You'll get a better idea then.

                      Hi,

i had the same problem with my splendor when i used to cross the speedo beyond 60, it used to feel like the engine is pulling back, i checked with some mechanics but everyone gave their lame excuses till finally the real fault was found with the valve and jets i replaced them all along with one more device which is just above the clutch plates and now i have no problems
