  • My UG3 150ccPulsar not going beyond 60km/hr

    My 150cc pulsar is not going beyond 60km/hr, eventhough i am in 5th gear almost half the throttle opened still bike seems to stay still at 60km/hr as if it reached the top speed. Kindly help me with this.. Thanks to all in advance.

    Current Status:
    24000kms
    recently changed coil and Digital C.D.I since rain shorted it.

      1. Digital C.D.I may not be properly installed. Go to service center...

        It might be the same coil and Digital C.D.I problem now also...

        Do this,
        Try going to a open road opening full throttle, observe what speed it is reaching, if it reaching say 70kmph and after 30-40 seconds starts decreasing automatically, then the problem might be with the gear shaft, observe the highest rpm it is able to reach etc,...

        Try teaching 60-70 in 3rd or 4th gear, see if there is any jerking.

          Just a doubt ...... Can this be a problem with the clutch ?? Had a similar problem with my bike and they told me it was a problem with the clutch. I may be wrong........... Seniors please put some light on this so even I can learn ... Thanks.... Ride safe brethren.....
