Okay guys need a quick help here
Last month my sister who lives in bangalore decided to buy a new scooter as she has to leave home at about 7am for work.
So she finalized on a Mahindra Rodeo (she kindof fell for the features i guess. the fuel cap/digital speedo etc)
So on 4th sept i.e. Sunday she visited the showroom and made a 30k downpayment on the spot with cash and decided to take a loan for the remaining 21k(51k onroad)
The showroom people promised to deliver the scooter by Thursday i.e 8th sept
Sis didnt even get a call from them that day so she called them back and they promised her to deliver it by Sat.
Again the same ignorance and sis called them up again and then they said they would deliver it on Monday(today) and yet the same thing happens. Not a single call to inform what is happening.
Sis is frustrated so i was wondering if there is any higher authority like an area manager for Mahindra's bangalore dealers.
IF anyone has any contact details kindly pm it to me
    Thanks

The Mahindra Dealer is located at 14 Sanky Road.

OH and while this is going on sis is also planning to cancel the Rodeo and is wondering about the TVS Wego.

Times like these call for the 'act of cancelling'. Walk into the showroom, tell sales guy whom you booked it with that you are cancelling and tell him to start the process. Have a stern face. It works! Usually he should get his manager who will try to explain. Tell him the problem and get the vehicle delivered ASAP.

Hey dude same issue had happened with me when i went to buy scooty for my wife, all i did was cancelled the booking and went ahead with other dealer and got scooty in 3 days.

If your loan is approved than talk to the approving authority/bank and shift it to other dealers showroom.

          Thanks for the approval

And thanks for the tip guys

Anyone know of any Mahindra showroom that is close to Cunningham Road/Vasanth Nagar (Blore) apart from the one i already mentioned?
Also if there are any better suggestions for an alternative scooter that is lightweight yet powerful(110cc and above) please advice.
The only criteria is: There should be very minimum waiting period(Where the Honda fails)

buddy one thing tell her to go to Honda and pick activa or aviator she will love it like anything as I have seen a lot of complaints with Mahindra scooters specially with the battery issues. Plius dont even think of going to hero man In that I saw so many new scooters they were dragging it when asked they said it is not starting. Buddy people who r riding Honda they r very very much satisfied and I guess there are alot of customers here on xbhp who have this scooter.

My suggestions go for something which is running with full force in the market and see it to it that u dont buy Mahindra do keep us posted.

I am an owner of a Honda Dio myself
Personally i just love everything about it. I have ridden her at limits from day 1 and i rode 98kms(avg) for 280 days a year and in the last 3 years i covered about 45000kms on NH13 and she still looks and performs as good as new. Only clutch overhaul was done at about 30k kms and belt replaced. nothing much done to her.

My next bike is going to be the CBR250R aswell so i know what Honda means to me

But you see the problem is Honda has a shamefully at the minimun 3 month long waiting period. Sis wants the scooter ASAP so Honda is out of the question(as much as it broke my heart )

Would TVS Wego be a better option?

Nitesh - I'd say cancel Rodeo & opt for TVS Wego; if this is the attitude before a sale what would they do for service? Besides, Wego seems to get some positive feedback these days.

The wego is a pretty good bike and seems to be doing decent numbers these days. However, Mahindra Scooters are not bad either. Just try some other showroom. Or, did you talk to the owner of the showroom? That should probably help. Once these supervisors get some dressing down from their superiors, they usually act fast.
