    Hello friends,
My Apache RTR ABS is just a week old and I am Finding Trouble in Shifting the gears, it gets stucked between the second and 3rd gear and sometimes other also..... And When I put it to a halt in neutral, sometimes I have to move my bike a little bit in order to put it into 1st gear i.e it gets stucked on neutral itself, also my ABS has stopped working from the second day of purchase! I seriously Think I have Been Given a Defected Bike .... Please help me out frnzzz !!!

The gear shifts should get smoother as you log more miles. And make sure you press the clutch fully while shifting.

But yes, RTR gearshifts are notchy (unlike say a honda) but if you shift at correct rpms then it is as good as any

How do you know if ABS is working on not??? If you are wondering if the bike doesn't stop on its own, then guess it doesn't work that way It just prevents wheel lockup

Some times ABS lets the wheel lock for some milliseconds.. Noticed on swift.
even if you try to lock the wheels at slow speed say 20-25 kmph, ABS won't feel effective.
But then if you are able to lock up your bike's wheel(s) for long period & distance then you need to get it checked
and for the gear shift try talking to SVC guys, you may be needing clutch adjustment..

When you start the bike, the ABS light blinks for a couple of seconds to test the ABS system. If the light is continuously on, it either means that ABS is 'turned off' or it's having some problem. From which dealer did you get it?

proper clutch setting should solve your gear shift issues .
Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.
