    Oh sorry.. I thought abbreviation of amphere hour is Amh.. my bad

    I used his bike for over a week and Now the battery is so dead that the bike has to be push started sometimes. But once the bike starts there is no problem with electricals, even that 55/60 glows to the fullest at 3.5k rpm. My multimeter is not functioning so couldn't test how much current is coming from that RR.
    Piece of advice - use a multimeter to check the amperage at various RPMS and also your riding style to decide whether to go for a 55w bulb or not.
    Mid-range rpm can charge the battery, but re-winding will charge the battery.
    @sandeep, 40kmph = 3k rpm in fazer, i think..
    My battery got discharged some 20-30 days ago, I got it charged just by ridding, that too around 3k rpm.
    multimeter shows 12.1 nowadays.. that's low, right? And there's no electrical mod done on it.

    Amaron has the best warranty 2+2 and warranty policy as well.
    Didnt knew about the 7Ah battery..
    Thanks HarishK

      If you had read my 1st thread you would have noticed that I don't plan to put HID or Xenon etc.. I would probably mod it till NightBreakers and back LED at the most.

      ps: from where you found 7AH Ameron batterys? I can only see 3 batteries 2.5/5/9 give me the link pls.

        Sandeep'jee , how do you measure Amps ( current ) output of bike with multimeter ? I could never get that right

        Yes , at 12.1v(volts) open circuit voltage (with no loads) a lead-acid battery is very low , the fully charged battery being about 12.6-12.8 volts ( stabilised - one hour standing after been taken off charging ) .
        I could never fully charge up a battery by riding alone , once it gets to the point of being flat, so I got a good idea and build myself a home recharger , I put it up just few days back on the Splendor forums ... it isn't elegant .. but it works very very well . You can check that out ... your battery will never die of undercharging again .

            It has been observed in a lot of bikes that the MF batteries die sooner than the traditional Lead-acid ones.

              Get the battery charged? Disconnect the terminals before leaving for a long time,Thats the best method.

              Amaron 9Ah battery needs 14.20V to recharge the battery,Just check with a volt meter whether your coil is producing that volts in the wires. I mean the wires connecting the battery.

              Here it is Amaron 9Ah battery in my ZMA,Its a big battery,I am sure that there is not enough room to fix it in a fazer.Get the 5Ah MF battery from Amaron.

                ya we also do that in our car.. But if the battery is not fully charged before leaving (specially in winter) then also battery can die.
