you cannot retrofit a radiator in your hunk . not possible . better would be to get some good synthetic oil that will keep engine in good shape on continuous high speed riding on your touring.

Thanks Puneet for reply.Yes you are right. I have done some study and found that its not possible to retro fit radiator on bike.

@vipink, you can fit an oil cooler on the hunk.. not a radiator.

i had fitted an oil cooler on my bike. but to be very frank, it was useless. the stock engine does not require the need for external oil cooling unless you plan for bumper to bumper traffic...

remember that over cooled oil can cause more harm to the tight lubrication components than a hot oil.

sure buddy, i am too lazy these days to type the whole thing again so copying it from an old post

the oil cooler that i had installed was a pretty amatuer job. i did not want to destroy the crankcase and wanted this only as an experiment. So i installed an electric oil pump with suction from the crankcase via the dip stick hole.

sorry i dont have any pics since i did not mean to keep it long but i ended up keeping it installed for 6 months uptill last month.

basically, the design was an offline cooling pump with a radiator. the speed of pumping was about 0.2 lpm. i used a mandrell bent copper pipe 5 mm diameter and 3 foot long
the oil pump used to suck the oil from the crankcase, pump it too the cooling tubes and then drop it back in the crankcase. all this via 2 pipes. one for sucking via the dip stick hole and the second one to return the cooled oil into the crankcase via the crankcase breather pipe.

i can send you a schematic of what i had done.. give me a couple of days to fetch the sketches...

btw, oil cooler is one of the best aditions that can be done to a bike provided that you know your oil is over heated... it can also be used to cool the engine...
THE piping diagram is attached as pdf..
