Help with rear shocks
Hi guys, I am posting for the first time here, so excuse any mistakes. I own a 2004 LML Graptor and it still runs great. But unfortunately it was left standing for a long time as I was out of station for studies. The problem is that the rear shock absorbers seem to have jammed up almost completely. Even for a single person it is a bumpy ride, and a pillion will suffer every pothole born this monsoon. Now the guy at the service station said that I could get the shocks serviced, I guess he meant put in new oil and springs, but not sure. He also said that this is going to be a temporary solution only. Should go in for new shock absorbers? Should I get a mono-shock since I was thinking of breathing new life? I had been thinking of getting some work dne on it, namely michelin low profile tires and clip-ons and K&N and a bunch of other stuff. What do you think guys, any suggestion for the shocks? Any help is greatly appreaciated.
Ride well.
