  • Chain loosening problem

Hi everyone, i have rx 135 4speed 2004 model. My bikes chain is getting loose often. Each time I tighten it and make sure the nuts are tightened properly but again the chain gets loosened within a few weeks. What's the cause of this problem?

how much do you ride (kms) between chain adjustment intervals? What's the age of your chain set in terms of kms & years? What's your riding habit & conditions?

If its less than few 100 Kms or happens in just few days, then the culprit it puller chain assy; go ahead & change it

not more than 50kms. will check the chain puller... few months back i fitted a new chain cover, so it makes that weird noise of metal clanking sound when the bike bounces off a speed breaker or some potholes... so its happening for a quiet few years. maybe i didn't notice (or neglected)because of not having the chain cover....
