Please share some more details .

Yes as psr sir said post details so it would be helpful for other user's too.
@Above All - Yup, you guessed it right. The teeth (bentex) were damaged. It may have occurred when they'd checked the starter for the same problem during the last service.
@psr sir - now the bike is like new. Even after a full night of heavy downpour (Chennai ), it takes just one click to roar to life...

Good that you got it changed , but did you observed the teeth of engine in which the bentex teeth gets engage to start bike , i don't think it would be done but there would be chances that the faulty bentex made some damage to them also . Is your bike starts quickly then don't worry for it .

I enquired for the same. The SVC guys said that the engine teeth are just fine. No damages done there. And since the bike starts at a single touch, I don't think I've an option to complain.

                  Re: ZMR refuses to start

                  Hello Guys,

First of all thank god I found this thread, So the problem with my bike is that it doesn't start sometimes like when I start from my home it starts instantly but after stopping for a while, it refuses to start after. I checked the battery, replaced it for self satisfaction but the problem still lasted. Now sometime it starts in the first push & somtimes doesn't. What should be the problem..? I noticed one thing that the sound that comes (fuel pump motor I think) when we start the ignition stops completely sometimes. other all things are normal. What to do..? sometimes it stops in middle of the way to my office which is very embrassing.

                  Please help somebody..

Check your fuse box, replace any faulty fuse especially the ignition fuse.
Had faced similar issues, after deep diagnosis the culprit was the fuse!
Let me know if it solves the issue

ThankYou for the suggestion, my mech. guy checked the whole wiring, relay, fuse. No problem thare, the problem is with fuel pump [emoji17]. I had a very strong doubt about it, and here it is.. nightmare for every ZMRian. The motor inside the pump got chocked and wasn’t able to build pressure. It was due to water (or any other substance like carbon something they say) was found inside the tank. The mechanic has ordered some after market pump compatible with ZMR, let’s se how does it performs. Feeling very bad about my original part got dead, now scared of lack of performance from new one. Re: ZMR refuses to start

Glad you were able to find the issue.
Faulty fuel pump is one heck of a night mare for zmr owners out there, considering the price and availability.
Although after market pumps are available the main issue to be noted is the pressure. 32 psi is the required pressure. If your mech guy can find anything that lasts long and makes the required pressure, you are good to go.
I've been using a aftermarket pump for 2 years now.
No power drop or missing issues, bought it from a local store for 3.5k.
