does this mean the bike can go only till 7000 rpm ?
.
and by going for big bore setup , free flow exhausts free flow air filters
and other sort of performance mods
the BHP increases
lets say upto 9-10bhp
and if it can go only till 7000 rpm can the bike deliver the increased performance that is the 9-10 bhp ?
It can surely go beyond that, maybe upto 8000 rpm.
Yes, big bores and other performance enhancing mods can deliver more bhp at 7000, or maybe slightly lower or higher rpm too.
?
im using this 1mm
what do u call that then ?
and whats head porting ?
Big bore means to change your piston to a bigger diameter one, and drilling the cylinder bore accordingly so that the piston fits it with roughly the same clearance as before.
A piston's size depends on the cc of the vehicle. And its usually from 40mm to 75mm. ok? can not be 1 mm at all, no matter what.
CDI supplies current to spark plugs and cuts the spark on rev limiter so that the vehicle can't rev beyond it. Programmable CDI's can take you to beyond rev limiter.
But they must be specially made for your vehicle as for different rpm's, different current is needed. Also, CDI's connector slots may or may not be compatible.
I don't think you need that as you're not riding a geared bike on a racing track, where an overrun beyond max power spot is helpful when there's just a corner approaching and gear up shifting and then shifting down, will take more time.
Most bikers consider the rev limiter as their enemy, while its not so really... I suggest you leave this idea, as yours is an ungeared bike, it won't bring any performance gains.
