Yamaha did release daytona performance kits for the fz and r15 nearly a year back.
Mounting a 250cc engine is possible but a whole lot of hassle
get the daytona racing kit or joels raceconcepts performance kit(i suggest the race concepts one coz it is cheaper and has better performance gains)

Single beam fz headlights???havent heard of these yet, maybe someone else can shed some light

am not really sure about the pricing but it would come close to the price of a new fz, whereas joels complete kit would cost you at the most 20000

Don't buy the daytona kit. You get better performance with joel's kits, that too at a much lower price.

              Hey dude

              Upgrade suggestion
Front Sprocket: 15 teeth (Unicorn or Enticer will work)
              KN Filter with Upjetting

For Increasing the Front Disc performance you can use Big Brake Oil reservoir with Dot 4 brake oil & adjustable brake lever.

I have tested all the upgrades (except Brake) on My Fazer are running from last 1 year & works great, Brake is upgraded 3 weeks back & works, looks & feels good.

Have you heard of Joel Joseph? Mail him at [email protected] for performance goodies. Bigbore, ported head, tuned ffe, bigger carburetor, camshafts, name it and you'll get it

Hi, would recommend checking out upgrades offered by Joel, Race Concepts. I have just done Stage 1, FFE installation and the power has become much more linear and now she hits 100 kmph in no time and the mileage has shot up considerably. Rest of the upgrades for me FZ-X18 are still pending i.e.: 180cc big bore kit, Racing Carb, Simota Air Filter, Volumteric Porting etc.

                      Cheers.
