  • Issues with Pulsar 135

    Hello Everyone,

    Currently, I have pulsar 135.

    1. My pulsar started generating harsh sound from the engine. Sometimes, the engine is too smooth and sometimes it seems to be putting too much effort while pulling the throttle.

I tried different engine oils, Kawasaki 20-50 from ENOC, Chamois 20-50 from some korean company. But all in vain.

    2. The engine heats up after 10-12 kms.

    3. Recently, I changed the clutch plates. After the replacement of clutch plates, while pressing the clutch in 1-2 gears, the kit-kit sound comes.

    4. The rear shock also creates noise. Every time I get it fixed and after 1 week the sound comes back.

Anyone having any idea about these issues, please help me. I would really appreciate your valuable comments.

    regards,
    Roshan

These 2 things are normal, the first one is primarily due to the presence of DTSi.

Heating up is ok and won't harm the engine much, but if it overheats, get the Air Fuel Ratio changed using a knob on the carburettor. It might have been tampered with in the service centre, so get it corrected.

The second depends on how much sound is coming. Can you post a video of that sound?

@Samrtha: Bro, Thanks for the reply. It's similar to auto-rickshaw sound but not that harsh/loud as compared to auto-rickshaw.

i ride a 135 too and some of yours doubts may be cleared here.
1.Resonance in 135 is from 60-70 kmph..when u r passing thru dese speeds it seems harsh but as u cross 75,it turns smooth til 105kmph.
4.the shocks in 135z ive seen show the same prob.

@Akari: Thanks bro. But my bike's sound is too loud at 3-4rpm even at 2-3rd gears, not just during high speeds.

Thanks for the post. Really appreciate.
