    no pics with me
It was a typical classic apache, no mods, metallic gray, almost black, just had a small ride, got it checked by a mechanic (the bugger said dont go beyond 27k, bike is fine but no resale, but that sounded too low) and waved a bye bye to the guy who had brought it. the owner is not in b'lore, was some friend of his, else I would've closed the deal

whats the going rate for the classic apaches? heard they arent respected as much...

Classic Apaches will cost no more than 32-33k.But as you have mentioned that it's a base model then it should be somewhere around 28-30k.27k is slightly low but it depends on the condition of the bike or may be the owner is in hurry to sell the bike!!

27 was suggested by the mechanic, the owner is stuck at 35. I'm at 29.
newez...wasnt a MUST HAVE...just that it was kept decently and wasnt abused...just wasnt driven for quite some time and a couple of broken lights...

well...bangalore seems to like unicorns more than other cities...
Some dealer had called me and he had a 2005 uni for abt 33k...40k kms done...
this was outrageous but even otherwise, ppl are selling and buying unicorns pretty expensive...

                dunno...

Dude, Call up JUST DIAL @ 91-80-23333333 and get the list of used bike dealers. Most of the times.. the dealers would call you in turn. As said, your luck matters a lot if you don't know the owner in person. Good Luck!

The dealer claimed prices are way higher than the actuals. They create demand for no reason.

agreed!...is more worth the wait and effort to search for a bike than buy one from a dealer..have had a bad experience/loss myself
