    Pulsar 180 issue

    Hi All,

    my pulsar 180 is facing some weird issue.I had been to my native which is of 1000km altogether.while returning i was facing Chain issue so went to Bajaj doctor to show it. per Doctor(Bajaj service center) suggestion i changed chain sprocket. Since then my bike's top speed has decreased. before it use to reach 100km/hr like a piece of cake. But now it can reach 100 only in down road. please let me know what issue it could be.

    FYI ...I am using K&N filter and irridium spark plug since 6months. and it its running 24000 km...

      Chain sprocket change is ok. But ur issue points towards the chain being too tight. Plz get the chain slackness adjusted with a good mech. If the problem persists then there could be some engine related issue. And plzz also check tht the sprockets installed are of the same sizes as earlier.

        Check the chain slack,There should be atleast 15-20mm of slack.Check alignment of the rear tire,tire pressure etc all will affect a bike's performance.

        Have you upjetted?
        IMO K&N and Iridium plug is waste.
