It happens all the time but at cold starts its more severe.
.
And guys I swaped my CDI no change found, problem's still there.
@pinaki,
I also did 80+ speeds for some 20mins, problem is still there. And whenever i downshift with rev-matching, my bike mis-fires, its not the usual one, its hollow kind of sound. Maintaining a constant rpm is not possible too.

tappet adjustment.. What do you think, is it tight??Originally posted by k_tornado_sj View Postcheck the tappet adjustment too , thats one thing which may create problems sometimes . but as per your description , the issue seems to be the pilot jet as well , hey is your exhaust completely fine or its kinda clogged ? check the exhaust too .
I dont think exhaust can get clogged at 18k kms. Btw, how to check it?

Tight tappets will cause starting problems,loss in power,loose tappets will produce a nik nik sound from engine.Originally posted by Honda_CBF View Posttappet adjustment.. What do you think, is it tight??Karizma Parts Manual - https://picasaweb.google.com/1010125...rizmaCatalogue

No , I suggested you the Xtrapremium and a blast of speed to clear out sticky valves , valve seat deposits etc .. if any . Xtrapremium is good for cleaning .Does not sound like a tappet issue here . Unlikely for exhaust to get choked so early , it's practically a new bike . AIr-filter is checked too .. AFR seems fine by the plug-chop . Sounds like timing is off . Either by loss of adjustment or the spark-plug/plug-wire/induction-coil not firing correctly somehow . Did this start suddenly or you did some changes just prior to it ? can you recall anything ?Originally posted by Honda_CBF View PostWill do it this morning..
why 2 stroke oil??
..so that it can act like xtrapremium (with friction busters)??

I already visited all SVC at my place. And also two mechanics who i used to think are knowledgeable.Originally posted by Pinaki View PostRules out almost everything I would try tinkering with .Time to visit a good service center or knowledgeable mechanic

Look for any cracks or damages in the sparkplug cable.

I face a similar issue with my 2005 Unicorn, the mechanics have suggested different metthods to get around this issue, here are the possible solutions.
1. Replace the CDI (you have already done that as per your previous posts, so skip this)
2. Replace the HT Coil which supplies power to the spark-plug
3. Replace Vacuum Piston in the CV carburetor

Aint there any other method to check the spark plug is skarking well or not?
