Okay. Then I will take it. If I want a steady and strong head light beam, I am ready to gamble the lower battery life. In fact, not just the battery but the head light assembly too needs a faster replacement. You want something you gotta loose something. Cannot revv the engine while braking for a corner or a speed breaker or a pot hole or in slushy n muddy patch.... that's where you need good and steady light beam.

Guys I am using a 35 W HID kit in my P200 and sadly i am also facing the same battery issues....these days i have to push start the bike
My bike is running on 9AH Amaron battery
Can i use the avenger/220 rectifier unit?? will it solve the discharging issues? Can it lead to any other problem(s)?sigpicComment

I don't understand. Stock bulb is 35W and HID is also 35W. So, how does discharge occurs? The stock bulb run on DC correct? You just connected the HID in place of stock bulb using power from the same source? currently DC current is being taken from the ignition wire and a switch is installed which converts the whole system to DC, when u turn off the switch the bike becomes AC again which is needed to start the bike as the Bike Starts only on AC current.....after starting the bike i turn on the switch to make the system DC which is required to turn on the HID....

I did not understand your switch part. Tell me what are you doing with the original 35W headlight ac wire? It is not been used rite? Convert that ac to dc and use it for your HID. That will solve your problem.Originally posted by A@shIsh View Post

basically that switch transfers the DC current from the ignition to the stock headlight switch panel(right side switch gear on the handle)
yes that stock wire isnt being used and its not possible to convert it to DC....sigpicComment

i have used a bridge rectifier. But mine is for low powered LEDs. I suggest you go to a electrician and ask him to design a bridge rectifier capable of handling around 5A current at 12V. The electricians who do college project works etc should know. Else if you can build the circuit yourself, i can try and design a suitable circuit myselfOriginally posted by A@shIsh View Post
