PUC Issue
I have a 5 yr Old Bajaj CT 100, KM reading 52000+, it failed the Pollution Check, CO emission reading is 9+. Recently done servicing & the mechanic claims he has done tuning & cleaned the carborartor but says the high co emission is due to bad clutch plate. Is it pssible ? Please helpTags: None

Did you check ur bike in another PUC station?? Your mechanic myt have not tuned ur carb properly.I was running on worn out clutch plates perfectly under emission standards

A worn out clutch causes puc to fail,what a wonderful reason.You need to give that mechanics a big award for his knowledge.
What mileage are you getting ? any drop in Fe after carb cleaning ?
Check-out for
Air filter connections,
intake manifold,
Idling RPM.
Air to fuel ratio.
Spark Plug gap .

the time you go for a pcu the ask you to put you bike on the center stand and put it in neutral and as far as i know the clutch is nut used wile your bike is in neutral,

I've 21 yrs old Rx & the reading is about 1.2 against 4.0 specified by Govt norms.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle
