    Buying Shoei helmet

    Is there a restriction in buying Shoei helmet in USA and carrying it to India as personal luggage through US and Indian customs. any brand restrictions?

    Any information on this is much appreciated.

      You have to be lucky not to get caught. I got a Suomy SPec 1R Extreme and a Arai Corsair V, both totalling to 1500USD thru customs without hassles.

        Hey Chetan ... were you able to get your helmets from US to India without any issues though the customs. I am planning to get one from here but want to make sure if there are any catches in that.

          My friend got my AGV Stealth from the UK. He faced no hassles at all. The helmet was packed inside a large bag and no questions were asked by the customs personnel.

          I don't think that there are any problems in bringing down helmets.
