Hey guys.
I was silent reader of Xbhp since last year, but i want to be more active , since i want to prepare my bike for leh trip this year or may be next year.
So recently i have installed the projector in my pulsar 150CC 2011 model. bought in March 2011.
It almost looks the same : (file attached) .
After installing the projector the non-trusted mechanic install the separate switch for high/low/off, when i asked him why, cant he use the control on the handlebar, he said this pulsar is digital one, so cant use it. . thus the main switch on handle bar pass/ high/low / headlight on switch are useless.
Is there any way. i can get rid of switch installed my non-trusted mechanic & connect the wire directly to the handle bar switched. since they are more convenient. The switch installed by mechanic are unreachble via thumb, when i am holding the left handle bar.
what is the diffrence between the old pulsar & new one specially in terms of digital ?
Does installing the projector voids warranty ?
I spoke to my trusted mechanic & he say he can do it, but risk of the electronics going booooom is on you. Is there any risk involve ?
Things to note : My pulsar is only 10 months old & its digital model/ full DC with 9amph amaron battery (6 months old) installed (stock battery got stolen).
What are the chances of going back to stock as well, if the above stuff, start giving problems.
