Now there is another problem.Whenever i start my bike in the morning or in the evening,The RPM rises to 4k for a span of 20 sec sometimes it does not stop keeps on at 4k itself had to shut down the engine and start again later when consulted i was told that the problwm is thath this machine is on auto choke and will be like this only. But when ic checked with my Mates P135 it dint have that problem. Please help needed if this goes on My engine will be completely dead and i other option rather to Bury it

      hi,
1.don't worry about auto choke problem.Applying choke runs a rich mixture by reducing airflow.it doesn't harm the engine but wastes fuel and clogs spark plugs if done for a long time.In auto choke there's a temperature sensitive mechanism. That may be culprit here.A visit to service center will solve the problem.
2.Regarding gear change if you feel them really hard it may be due to just insufficient lubrication to damage of bearings.Bajaj bikes are known for clunky gears. Best to visit service center soon.
Whenever i see bikes or cars i see adrenalin pumps instead of people carriers.Thats the way to define an automobile.

        Hi anadarco7

I ride a p 135 gen1. ULTI is right its the auto choke n you dont need to worry if it is as follows

It should auto rev roughly for 10 15 sec only and only during winter mornings. Dont kill the engine or rev trying to save your precious 15 seconds. the auto choke will ensure long engine life.

You may need to worry if the vehicle uses auto choke during warm weather/ every time you start / rev for more than 45 sec frequently.

Of my 10 years of riding a Bajaj i cnt figure out the gear lever prb its bajaj dna i think (the confusion/ slip between 1 N 2 gr). But if you feel that you have to apply too much force using your toe to shift in high gears try this.

Put your machine on stand and inspect the gear knob, just near your foot peg there is a screw that links a rod to the case. Tighten/ loosen / lubricate. it helps. Possible side effect marginal 2mm lateral movement, which doesn't matter

        ride happy, spread happiness
