Hi all, i bought a HID projector and got it fitted in my pulsar 150 (old-2005) and the same day i hardly used for 15 mins and battery totally gone...
Then i read about coil rewinding and ape RR thing on xbhp and converting full bike to all DC.
So went to a bike electrician, he checked through a meter and showed me that when bike is running the battery charge in in minus (-), it was around -4 in meter which means battery was not charging, so what he done was took an extra connection from stator coil and making all points towards HID light and took it to near battery and then he installed a relay there taking one connection from battery and took Rs.600 for that and it was in plus(+) at that time but i was not satisfied that time.
Now when i start angel eyes the horns are okay at 6k+ RPM but when i switch on light, horns get down again. So does it mean that it is still in minus(-) when light is on and work is not perfectly done by electrician?
Can i know go for Avenger 180 stator coil and ape RR? Will doing these two things make everything alright, i mean will it show charging in plus (+)? Please suggest best alternatives in a detailed manner which can be easily understood as i need to tell the mechanic too.
