I own a 3 year old Karizma R. I had a lot of expectations with the bike before buying it but it does not live up to my expectations. I am putting this query in front of you guys to know whether the problems i face is bike specific, or everyone has faced it, or is it my riding style?
1. I feel the bike is not comfortable for rides more than 15KM.(I am 5ft11inches tall, 80KG weight and 28 years old). The seat n the bike is big enough for 2 but the person driving it has to sit very near the tank and a lot of space will be left behind him, I feel the seat on CBZ is better positioned(from the look, i have not driven CBZ).
2. I am not very happy with the handling too. The bike does not inspire confidence in me while cornering. The flick ability is also not very good.
So the question is - Is it my driving style or is it bike specific or other people have also noticed it.
Note: Before buying Karizma (2009 model) i had CD Dawn (2003-2006) and i feel the bike was a better handler than Karizma.
thanks.

so sliding forward and repeatedly adjusting my position frustrated me a lot. So I bought some seat-cover sheets (fz16 seat cover which is pretty rubbery/sticky). Then cut them in the shape of my tank area where my knees touch the tank. Stuck them with rubber based glue which does not affect the paint in any way, and can be removed with diesel/kerosene. Now I am able to grip the tank easily during breaking. They don't look great, but offer excellent functionality. The same kind of assistance is offered in commercially available tankpads like Stompgrip, but they're pretty costly (around $50).
