  • Avenger 180 speedometer pod /clamp broken

    Hi All,

Speedometer clamp for my Avenger 180 speedometer is broken.

Service center suggested me to change meter itself. Please suggest if there can be any other solution.

    Regards,
    Nitin

well you won't find the cover of avenger speedo separately. unless you can get a 2nd hand meter from someone. Bajaj makes a lot of money from us avenger owners over the spare parts.

I would recommend just opening the clamps and meter. And get it affixed together. I am not able to recall if its metal or plastic. But you can use some superglue if its plastic and something like welding/mseal if its metal.

But whatever you use, remember to remove it from the bolts before that. Otherwise you will end up with the bolts also getting permanently fixed on the clamps. and then you'll have to replace a lot more than a meter
