    Ambition =?

    I am getting an HH ambition 135 for free. The condition of the bike isnt good, and is not in the running condition (what else can you expect out of a bike for free)

    Brief about its condition : The bike has been lying in the garage for over a year now. the kick-start axle is stuck in the midway (not going up and neither down). I am expecting a complete engine overhaul.

    What I want to do with the bike:

    Option 1: Fix it up. Change the makeover of the bike and transform it from a commuter to a offroad-hybrid machine with mileage

    Option 2: Restore it back to its old glory and sell it off.


    Q1> Which of the above options should I go with sensibly?
    Q2> What would be the approx budget I should look forward to in terms of restoring it to stock and modifying it for a offroad-hybrid?

      Damn... Why doesn't someone offer me a KB or an RX for free

      Converting the bike might for offroading might involve too many hassles, specially since offroad bikes require a longer shocks travel. Front shocks might be replacable with the one's on the Impulse, but not sure about the rear. Best thing is to restore it to stock. I believe it gives a good mileage, and you can probably use it as a daily ride.

        I think option 2 will not be a good idea. For restoring you'll have to spend some amount, and it'll be difficult for you to sell it at a good price as Ambition is an obsolete/failure model.

        Fix it up and and use for your daily commute, enjoy Ambition's smooth 135 cc mill!
