  • Helmet mohawk?

Any of you guys know where I can buy these helmet mohawks in india? I've looked at ebay and it costs about Rs 3000 which is alot for some hair on the top of your helmet. I'm hoping that some one knows some store in india
(maybe in kerala?) that sell these things

In my opinion they look funny. And why don't you buy it online. you've got plenty of choices in motorcycle-superstore.com, amazon.com, ebay etc.

yeah i saw a few on sale in ebay but like i said they cost rs 3000 which i think is a bit too much. im trying to find a shop that sells it cheap, maybe for rs 1500?

I need one too...Had someone done it here before?? would love to have one in scarlet red pattern.

All i know is to select or create that one which can be sticked with glue...because if we drill holes in the helmet then the chances of its safety are at stake...modification will screw up the working of your helmet and will not protect your head in case of an accident.

Velcro can be used too.. But i want one!!

I had ordered it online from a website in the US and had asked my friend to get it down for me. Held on with 4 suction cups. Claimed to be Wind tested to 220 mph, Weather Resistant. Costed me close to a grand I think. The website was a bit shady - they didn't have any contact info and didn't shipped for a long time. However when they finally did, the kamina friend sold it to another for a profit and didn't get it down :P. I kinda then dropped the idea, but if you can think of a jugaad in India, then I would be interested again.

Yes desi jugaad can be done. Iam not able to find the correct link...
All i see is some zip ties and stuff...

2 side velcro pad yes, but then how to stick those zip ties in them is bit tricky, also some other material would definately do... Please help out kakkar bhai!!

The one I ordered from was held on four suction cups. I don't think it'll be easy to do a desi jugaad. Especially something that will hold at high speeds

Glue that god damn velcro strap with fevikwik...Baat khatam.

It will surely hold on at those speeds, and those sticking zip ties or hair can also be sticked with fevikwik.

Hey. I got one of those mohawks on my LS2. Never failed to turn heads on the roads. A pic is there on my profile pic. I got it from Amazon for about Rs. 1250.
                          Someone said Suit up.

                          I say Gear up.
