    Tools !

    Hi guys
    can anybody guide me as to where i can buy decent quality tools from in Delhi? Preferably in the west Delhi region.
    An address along with a contact number will be appreciated.
    Im looking for ratchets, spanners and general tools to poke around with.

      Bansal Tools in Karol Bagh. That is where most of the mechanics get their tools from.

      If you want variety, head for Ajmeri Gate.

      My $.02 - do a little bit of research.

      Ratchets - 1/4" or 3/8" or 1/2" bit size will depend on how heavy your wrenching loads will be. In Ajmeri Gate you'll get plenty of ratchet sets but you need to decide what you want.

      Spanners - best would be the ones with a ring spanner on one end and an open spanner on the other end. decide on the sizes you want. 6/7 to 32 available. Do buy a T spanner for some common size bolt heads - 8, 10 & 12.

      General tools???

          Some general tools which i would recommend

          oil can, screw drivers-flat & philips head, spark plug spanner, feeler gauge, medium sized file, chisel, medium size hammer, mallet, hack saw, multimeter, nose pliers, vise-grip pliers, allen keys, can of wd-40, fevibond rubber adhesive, araldite
