    For this,
What you can do is that get the cone set checked... i.e if the bike is not going straight when the handle is left free to move then it can be due to a fault in cone set too..!!

Thanks a lot guys....I was able to go straight before the mech adjusted the fork screws(screws which hold the forks to the t-stem)...but after he tightened it...i dint check that....but previosly that is how the mech convinced me that there are no fork bents...he left his hands up in air at all speeds and the bike went pretty straight...i also got convinced that it might be my pre occupied mind..but when i asked my friends, they also felt the same....

anyways, the mech has said that he will change the t-stem n check for my comfort once again..lets c...wat else can b d pblm....????if the chasis ud hav been bent then i have to do one thing....I WILL SELL IT OFF N NEVER EVER ADVISE ANYONE 2 BUY ONE.....

Sorry for my harshness 2 one of the best bikes in India....

You are telling that the bike is going in straight line when the you take off the hands. This is enough to tell that your chasis is fine. Unless you have a major impact the chasis will not bend so easily. If the t-stem is bent, the bike's behaviour will be radically different. Of course, let your mechanic change it and see the results. Do not think too much about it. Enjoy the ride.

I told you to change the cone set (ball races kit); did you do that??

yes ravi...the mech said,he has changed the ball bearings...i guess its d same wch u r telling...rite????let me do the lst thng...change the t-stem n check....

but one thing i can make out...when he had not tightened the fork screws, the bike was feeling very bad...bent...but as he tightened them,i could find much of a difference....but still there is an issu wth it....so i was just thnking may be....the correct tighteneing of the screws would be d key...wat say...???

n wat abt that expert who told that ur bike can nevr b like the original..???do u blive in him..????

            50% solved

Atlast my problem is solved to some extent by changing the Rusted back wheel Axle rod.

              Oil in Air Filter Box!

Mates, last evening, when I opened up the air filter cover of my ZMA to clean the air filter, I saw some amount of engine oil in the compartment.
Though, as per my little knowledge(which generally is a DANGEROUS thing), the breather pipe from engine case that enters the air filter box is intended to SUCK some or very little amount of air from the Air Filter box.
As in the case of a car, if the engine breather pipe(dont know the technical name) is throwing out oil(which is also called engine back Compressor-by desi mistreeees!) it implies something wrong somewhere.
so, please tell me, is it normal to see some traces of oil in the filter box, also, just for the information, My Zma is aprox. 20 months old, has 23k on odo and doesnot show any traces of Burnt engine oil in the silencer while cold starting.
please ignore my Ignorance and show me some light in this.
Its not about the BHP or the CC, its about one common religion called Biking!!!

My Zma has got the same problem, do u get slight shake in between speeds?,
due to this psychotic thoughts i have changed the chassis.but still the problem is not rectified, many people ride my bike and tell me the same thing tht ur bike is perfect...,i dint find any solution to make them understand wut i feel!. any way thanks for sharing ur thought.

hey man y d hell did u change the chasis....??was it a major accident...???it sud only b changed wen its a major crash or a front on collision...d best way 2 check is by leaving the handle while riding n check if the bike goes straight.....btw...wats d cost of the whole chasis...????
                      4 all those shakes whch u r telling...make sure about these...t-stem n fork screw tightening,correct air pressure....put 28+ in the front n c the diff.....previosly it was shaking 4 me 2...but now m fyn....
i thnk its all in the mind....just feel dat ur bikez brand new....or sud i ask my showroom owner 2 take u 4 a ride on ur bike like me......

u wil feel better like me....

                      do 1 thng..come 2 b'lore along wth ur bike.....

jokes apart....my suggestion is give it 2 a good rider or 1 whoz passionate abt riding...dnt tell him there is a problem.....letr him ride n give his comments....thn u can be sure abt everythng....

                      take care man...
                      time 2 enjoy.....

Okay, do this, ask the mechanic to loosen the fully tightened screws of t-stem and check for the handling. Do it for 2-3 levels of loose positions of the screws. Compare the handling each time. Then, we can conclude whether overtightening of the t-stem screws has any effect on the handling.

As a matter of fact, I fell three times on my Zma and the handling now is slightly changed and I could never get back to original. I too checked the t-stem and and cone set. Yet to check for wheelbalancing and any slightly bent front wheel. But, the change in handling is not very much drastic, still my bike handles very well, but slightly different than the new karizma.

I would like to know if your bike is behaving badly?

Also give me some more time. A bit busy right now. My bike also needs a good service after the 2000-km ride to Kodachadri. My bike has seen some worst roads in the trip. Have to check a lot of things at the service center. I am gonna speak to 2-3 mechanics regarding the problem you r facing. Let me see what they say regarding this.

Till then, do not worry much and enjoy the riding.
