Which is the best Hero Honda (Motorcorp?) Service Center in Bangalore?

    CBZ Xtreme ATFT
    Green Air Filter
    NGK Iridium Spark plug
    29k done

    current problems

    1. knock sound from engine at low rpm - SC guys in intermediate road said it could be camshaft belt

    2. mild acceleration when i apply clutch (just revs the engine, feels by sound). Choke is not pulled.

    3. It often has power/pickup issue, sometime rpm doesn't cross 8k, in any gear ,and top speed not more than 85kmph
Now its fixed half, automatically. - initial pickup is less, but good after 5k rpm

    4. Regular service, perfect tuning for green filter

    Topic Approved.

Initial perception is quite vaguely pointed out towards the camshaft belt/ chain being a problem but I can't confirm.

Please give more details on the Green filter. Is it directly fitted to the carb, or fitted in Airbox? And is the bike upjetted?

        1. If the above issues are due to service center than visit hero website and fill up form :
        Reach Us - Query Form.
        2. There is nothing like best svc centre, first complain by filling form and your bike will be taken care off properly.
        3. I think you can complain on the svc centre which serviced your bike last.

The Millenium motors service at Inner ring road wrongly diagnosed my Splendor's clutch slipping problem and suggested for a clutch plate replacement when the vehicle was at 25k kms mileage. When I cross checked the issue with a local mechanic, the clutch cable had to be adjusted to solve the issue and the shift was always smooth after that. It's 34k kms now and still running with stock clutch plate. I strongly doubt if the service supervisor's over there know what they do.

I'd recommend you Vimal Motors (Hero Motors ASC) at Old madras road (next to Honda service). They have a smaller service center (that way not overfilled with too many vehicles beyond their capacity) and wonderful follow up after every service for feedback.

Thank you, but i have already got my xtreme serviced in Millennium Motors inner ring road, and got it yesterday.

            replaced following items.
            1. camshaft tensioner
            2. disc pad

knock sound and front fork vibration are fixed now.
clutch seems to be better now.

When I asked about performance, they said some component in clutch assembly needs to change.

I am sure it's clutch is not perfectly ok.
Does clutch problem affect bike's performance?

I don't see any pickup issue until 5k rpm, then its hard to go beyond. And max it will rev till 7k

              Bad Experience at Vimal Motors

The first time i gave my bike, the service was good.
For the second and third time, they screwed my bike.
Every time they somehow made up the bill to 1k for general service and the problems started just after 1 or 2 days of service.
They just give your bike with new problems.
              I hate this place.
