hi guys,
i am from Hyderabad..i used to have a pulsar 200cc which i sold in 2010 to a automobile dealer at ramkot (Hyderabad).
later in oct 2011, i brought a new vehicle YAMAHA R15 V2.i went to register my vehicle, the RTA guys told me "your old vehicle is not transferred .its still on your name and you have to pay 14% tax(9% + 5%).
i went to the automobile dealer..i made a police complaint. at last in the month of April 2012 the old vehicle has been transferred to some one else.
again i went to the RTA office yesterday 14 MAY 2012..still they are demanding me 14 % tax(9% + 5%). they are saying "before you take your delivery of your new vehicle, the old vehicle has to be transferred but not after" now you have to pay extra 5% tax..
now i dont have any vehicle on my name still has to pay tax for 2nd vehicle.
is this right..guys help me soon plz
