I was barely learning algebra when you were getting your RX 100.

But I have a small advice for you. Don't feel cheated with the new gen machines, there's no need for it!
Even if you feel bad/cheated, it won't affect the things in the real world scenario; but will only adversely affect you. Isn't it?

Keeping in mind that this query of yours was heavy on the emotional side, I can just say that if you're unhappy with the current 150cc mill you have (may we know its name? ), sell it off!
Of course, you can assume a good resale value since its barely ~10 months old, chip in some amount from your pocket and get Duke'd.
    ha ha..well said..thanks

Which bike do you own currently? I know after mastering the RX, no bike will 'satisfy' you to that limit. But does it (current ride) serve your purpose at least?

I don't want to disclose the bike's name .. Don't want to hurt anyone... It serves my purpose of commuting b/w office & home, good for touring ( if it had good Tyres !)

Well, I applied some common sense (after a long time... ) and now I know what you possess...
and don't worry, noone will be hurt by your comments. (yahan fanboys jo raada karte hain unse to acche hi comments kiye hai aapne...ab tak sabko aadat ho gayi hogi...)
Well I just wanted to know your ride to guess it's resale value and now I am sorry but I doubt, if you will get it as per your expectations. BTW, how much do you expect?
So considering all this, I will suggest against everyone here and also against your heart. I will say, keep the ride for some more time (say one more year) as it serves you purpose well. tab tak thoda 'paisa vassol' bhi ho jayega...(partially though). Wait for a better/worthy upgrade and get the best after one year, rather than getting duke'd now and again feeling cheated later...

BTW, there was some news about Duke 350. I guess everyone forgot that...

I would like to put one thing forward to this nice discussion..
We buy things as per our requirements.. And compromise on aspects which come later in our priority list.. If you want mileage you compromise on power. By the way your bike is best of both the worlds in its class..
There was a drought of power in Indian Motorcycle Market, which these new enterants are making full use of..But what is YOUR requirement?? Set that first and then take a decision.. In 10 months time requirements dont change. When a KTM owner starts thinking about mileage may be he would start a thread completely opposite to yous.. He has been cheated in mileage :-) . But a KTM owner doesnt care about mileage and a xyz 150 owner shouldnt care about power!? As he could have invested 10k more for a pulsar 220, but he didnt!! And if you still think too much about power, there is an upgrade available which converts your 150 to 180!!
