    Conversion from Fi to Carb

    I have a 2007 Pulsar 220 Fi done 18K kms. My bike fuel pump has gone kaput and i had ordered it 2 months back . I stay in Delhi and still the service centre guys are saying they cant confirm when they will get it from the company. so i'm planning to convert it from fi to carb as many of the fi parts are not available.
    Pls suggest if the conversion is possible or not and if possible wat cost and where in delhi

    Topic Approved.

    The changes from Fi to F were more than just a carburetor instead of Fuel injection. But still, I think its possible.

    But, instead of the hassle, why don't you try other places, after market shops, other cities' probiking showrooms, etc. for your fuel pump?

        Conversion is indeed possible and the PBK will do it for 10k. I got this information from Chennai PBK . Inquire your PBK they should give you the details.

            For this conversion you have to change the below major items (there are more smaller items too):
            -fuel tank (the fi version has a special mount point)
            -ECU
            -external fuel filter & hose pipes

            Better to check other cities, if you want I can check in Pune city with my known dealer.
