Pulsar 150 classic: non working speedo
hey guys.. i have the pulsar 150 classic 2003 model with analogue round speedometer and tacho.. the tacho is fine but the speedometer needle doesnt budge.. took it to service center guys, they just told me it cant be repaired and needs to be replaced which will be 2200 bucks for the entire unit.. anyone here has knowledge on how i can repair it?? i have basic knowledge and keep opening stuff up.. so i dont need a completely noob explanation. just a good guide as to what i should be looking for exactly to repair it..

Query ApprovedAdvice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

i had the same problem with my Unicorn,,,,,,RPM meter worked perfectly but speedometer didn't move not even the mileage meter where i can see how much mileage i have clocked. anyways i had to change something the name i cant recall. it was related to my meter pinium and entire set has to be bought which cost me 600/- tk so in India it must be less than 300 rupee. this set is connected to the front wheel via speedometer cable.Originally posted by puneetritehere View Posthey guys.. i have the pulsar 150 classic 2003 model with analogue round speedometer and tacho.. the tacho is fine but the speedometer needle doesnt budge.. took it to service center guys, they just told me it cant be repaired and needs to be replaced which will be 2200 bucks for the entire unit.. anyone here has knowledge on how i can repair it?? i have basic knowledge and keep opening stuff up.. so i dont need a completely noob explanation. just a good guide as to what i should be looking for exactly to repair it..
