Alright, review (waited so long because wanted to be perfectly sure of how the feel is).Originally posted by amit_purohit20 View PostPlease let me know the feedback on your seat modifications, the comfort levels any other problem associated with it and would request you to attach a pic of the seat modifications.
Its AWESOME. No pain in the rear anymore, am able to sit on a chair or sleep without my butt hurting.

Basically removed existing seat cover, under it was older OEM seat cover and that too was removed. Cut out thick sponge and attached it to either sides of front seat to increase size on each side by around 2 inches. Then wrapped the whole seat with foam twice. After that used soft leather to make a cover for it and put the seat back.
If you are in Bangalore, go near Minerva Circle and opposite a temple there you will find a shop dealing with mattresses, pillows and other bedding things. Right next to it is a seat tailor. Whole operation cost me Rs. 700/-, he will ask more but you can bargain.
Pic I cannot put up now will do later, gimme a day's time. But trust me, on the whole its a whole new level of comfort. I know a guy who has a pulsar which has much better nitrox suspension and even he has a similar pain problem. Its always due to extremely narrow seats in Indian bikes. Bullets and cruisers (TB & Avenger) don't give you pain because of larger front seat. Your entire rear end must have equal support on the seat, while most seats give support only for middle of the rear. Even smaller guys cannot possibly fit on ultra small seats in bikes like Discover and Pulsar 135/150.
Tailor1: Ithna badha seat kis liye ?
Me: Comfort nahi mil raha hai is seat se
Tailor2: Kundi badha hai kya ?
Me: Nahi bhaiyya, seat chota hai
Currently without a vehicle. Uber App and Bangalore Metro serving all my travel needs.

Congrats on your successful mod. Could you post a few pics please of the seat? I plan to increase the rear seat width of my avenger.Originally posted by MHG View PostAlright, review (waited so long because wanted to be perfectly sure of how the feel is).Its not always about speed.
