  • New RE Bullet Classic getting off

    Hello guys

I got a RE Bullet CLASSIC on 22nd may... but from two days its getting off again and again.... I have riden it 350 kms... and even when I am on speed of 60 as soon as I realese. The throttle to slow down and gear down the bike it gets off without any sound... sometimes when I am on low gearr its stops with a sound coming from somewhere....

Kindly tell me what could be the reason.. could it be the Plug ??b or something else

Hoping to hear from you all

    Thanks

    With regards

    Lovish

Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Should not be a problem with the plug, could be carb. Also though im not sure, a loose connection to battery stalls TBTS. Check your battery terminal connections..

          Is it 350 or 500??
In case of 350, Just get your carb readjusted..nothing major..
in case og 500, you need to get your plugs checked, they should be 'Paltina' from Bosch.

I had gone to srvice center... what he did was just swinged a screw with his hand.. and said now the bike would not get off.. when I asked what he did... he said "bus chala k dekho.. maine rpm set kia h"

Now. The bike is not getting off... but its sound has increased to a great extent.. I am worried he has increased the petrol suppy to engine which would mean lesser average

Any body show Some light... I am attaching the pic of that screw... the yellow screw is the one he did something to...

What he has set is the idle rpm screw on carb, so that engine will not stall when you release the throttle in neutral or when you depress clutch in gears.
As this is done at service center, I hope it is set to right RPM and will not be of any problem.
                    Enjoy!

Thanks for your reply... now understood it to some extent...

but would it mean more fuel suppy to the engine and lesser milage ??

Every bike has a idle rpm for it to keep running without getting switched off. It ranges between 1000-1250 rpm on different bikes. Please refer your service manual and check the idle rpm of the bullet.

Idle rpm doesn't mean more fuel supply to the engine and lesser mileage. There are others ways to get there. Suggest, since you have bought a mammoth of a bike, read your owners manual and get an idea of things. Please go through the ownership experience thread of the CL350.
