FZ 16 Maintainence Help!!
Hi all,
I am new to this world of Xbhp . I really liked the way things are told and sorted out here. I am 22 years a college student and riding two wheelers from the age of 13 (just a brief as I thought it would be necessary).
I purchased a FZ-16 in June `10. Its 2 years old now with 25000 kms done.
I am going for major maintenance schedule within some days. So I have below given queries:
1> which tyres should I opt MRF stock or Pirelli SD. I liked the both but if Pirelli dids some better and has good performance I can opt for it. Also what about its wet grip?
2> I read people going for Swingarm bushes greasing , greasing cushpads and change of conesets as well as bearings ...is all of them necessary as I had already changed bearings ?
3> I am also thinking of experimenting with K&n air filter. Is there performance increase also with it? I would prefer to use it occasionally as I liked the BRuooommm BRuuooomm sound ....So plz suggest.
4> should I go for trying with another engine oil grade .....While I am still comfortable with YAMALUBE.
5> If there are any other work to be done then please tell me ...as I am a performance lover .
PS : I ride 90 kms on daily basis ....also my riding style is mixed one with minimum speed of 20 kmph to max of 121 kmph.....so suggest accordingly.
Any kind of inputs as well as criticism (if required) is extremely well come.
