  • Misalingment of front and rear tire

    Hi Guys,

I am facing some weird problems with my 2012 ZMA. A few days back i had posted a query where my front wheel and rear wheel were misalinged(not parellel to each other).
Samarth bro told me it usally happens after a fork oil change which was true. I had done a fork oil change and only after which i have noticed this problem. Also when i ride the bike the front fork assembly looks a bit croocked. After getting some advices from u guys i did try trobleshooting this problem, i did a fork through, swing arm bushes change and perfectly fitted back, changed the fork oil to 145ml per fork opposed to the earlier 160 ml (one strange thing i noticed that the right side fork pipe is apprx 1 or 2 cm taller than the left pipe) is that normal? Please help me guys. Anyone from malad who would be willing to help me i would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance guys

    Query Approved

Though I also have a query. Why did you do a fork oil change so early?
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

The only reason i went for a fork oil change is because i was advised by a mechanic to do so. He stated that the damping was too much hence i changed it

Your bike is still under warranty so such issues should be addressed by the ASC and not an outside mechanic..who in your case seems to know nothing about bike forks...As it is the ZMA comes with good damped front end which some times feel a bit soft and dives under hard braking and the number plate hits the front mud guard.....No ZMA will come with the kind of difference of 1 cm difference in length of fork tubes. Your mechanic had not fitted it correctly..
Take it to ASC and get the whole thing corrected ASAP, and don't reduce the fork oil quantity.
