  • [SlideShow]: How to setup telescopic front suspension on kinetic Honda

I have seen lots of kinetic hondas here in nashik with custom telescopic suspension. When i enquired i found that the suspension belongs to bajaj saffire/wave which is history now.So i want suggession from xbhpian guys, what major/minor alteration have to be done to fit the telescopic suspension which is mechanically in right position viz.Angle of inclination to vertical.I am attaching photo for reference.

    Query Approved

Most modern scooters (Access, Rodeo, Flyte, Duro, Wego, Aviator) are coming with telescopic front forks nowadays. You can pick and choose whose parts you want depending upon budget. Don't worry that Bajaj wave is no longer available.
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

today's lucky morning!!!I found a garage where kinetic was parked having telescopic suspension. So I asked the mechanic which seemed to be knowledgable. He said that he have one more set of telescopic suspension of Bajaj saffire. But he is quoting 2K for the total work.He is telling me in such a way that the tele suspension of saffire is in great demand. But i am bit surprised to heard 2000 bucks for salvage part.Is there any one who know cost of brand new part of the same of access/wego?Also he said telescopic suspension of other vehicle will not fit,I wonder.what should be the max. cost of this salvage part.

2K for total work (Parts + Labor) is dead cheap considering the amount of headache involved in that particular mod. go for it and please post step by step pictures of it.
