Pulsar 220 handling issue

    Pulsar 220 handling issue

    Since last few days I am observing few issues while riding my Pulsar 220F

    1. Bike is going slightly left when I run it in straight line continuously at low speed (60 kph or less).
    2. In case of immediate breaking it is going little bit towards right side.
    3. When I try to ride bike leaving the handle bars at low speed (40-50kph) it tilts and goes to left side, but same thing when I do with the speed of 60 or more, bike stays straight.

    I have my ride with me since last 1.5 years and never faced this issue.

    I am more concern about first two issues I have mentioned. Please suggest if anybody has experienced such issues in past.

    Did you get your front suspension fork oil replaced/ suspension changed/ opened anytime in the past? Did you get tyres replaced? Have they aligned properly with the rim?
    Or maybe any swingarm work? Or any other work you got done?

      Coneset needs to be adjusted, if, you haven't had a fall.

      If this is happening due to a fall/crash then probably the issue is with the fork.

      Anyways, always remember to mention the odo reading whenever asking such queries.
      Advice is a form of nostalgia.
      Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

        Its a problem with your bikes 'T' which is located under the handle bar..
        I don't know the actual(technical) name of that thing...
        I also had the same problem with my Karizma..
        It generally happens due to dropping off the bike..
        tell the mechanic to adjust it or simply replace it....problem solved.

          Thank you very much guys for your valuable suggestions, I am providing some more information about the issue and my ride.

          I have done 14k kms on odo till date.
          around 1 and half month back I had fallen from my ride because of breaking suddenly hard. when I dropped, speed wasn't more than 15 Kph. after that I was facing little bit dis-balancing issue while breaking, so I took the bike to service center and the mechanic said that "the FORK IS OUT". I don't know what it means exactly but I considered that there is misalignment in forks. He repaired it and also replaced the Cone-set. After that I have done almost 1200 kms including one day trip to Lonavala without any issue.

          and Now the issue is started.

          Please help me to solve this more accurately. I don't believe on Service centers guys totally because many times, for a single issue they try 10 different things.

          Also Suggest an expert mechanic in Mumbai if you know any for Pulsar 220F. I stay in south Mumbai and give my ride to "Sai Service" for servicing and repairs.

            guess wad, even I got the same problem, although my bike has covered 43k kms and my bike at whatever speed I leave handle it goes left, I have invested so much to solve this problem but to no avail, next month mostly will change all front handling part wich includes fork assembly entirely and handle bar n t set, and also the chassis and swingarm if necessary

                my bike, same problem. given in service station and changed the whole fork assembly along with t and cone set plus the mag wheels and caliper now after installing all this still the problem is same, so service people suggesting me to change the chassis wich I said yes to and for now waiting for rto approval once that is done my new chassis will be fitted on my 2year old 220 with 45k kms done

                  I had almost the same problems after I had a crash, but then SVC worked on 2 & 3 and it has been resolved to a certain extent. Though I believe once such problem creeps in, you've gotta live with it unless you shell out a lot of money to change a lot of parts (purely my opinion). I've learned to live with it.

                  Possible causes might be:
                  1. Bad coneset
                  2. 'T' as someone mentioned above
                  3. Fork misalignment
                  4. Rims/Tyres misalignment
                  Its the fusion of a two wheeled machine & a human being which creates a true biker.

                      small update

                      guys small update, the chassis fork assembly with t has been changed and bike runs n drives on pot holes as smooth as new, plus the fitting of the engine in chassis was so good that my fear factor was the vibration if fitting not done properly but I must say that the bike is smooth as new and vibrations vanished. the bike finally goes straight if I leave the handle bar, now I can proudly say to my friends the Dark KNIGHT RISES!! with a hole in the pocket for 22k lol.

                              Hi friends I own 2012 220f pulsar few days ago I met with an accident (fell down) then I visited the mechanic he said fork is bent then he took of the bent but the problem is while riding a bike wheel is going straight but the handle is slightly turning to right side and I can't turn left side faster as before. Plz help me
