  • Pulsar 2006 (december - the very first digital meter model)

    Hi Guys,
I am looking at converting my Pulsar's wiring to all DC. I have read that there are two ways to do that 1. The Bridge rectifier model. 2. The rewinding of coil. Or is it that I am making a mistake in undrstanding here? Please suggest the best way to go about.

I want an HID with angel eyes and LED parking lights (all white) to be installed and also want the stock switches to work. The mechanic was telling me that the HID that i installed right now has to work ind'p'ntly on a stupid 2 way switch! I feel crappy and not at all okay with that. I guess the conversion would be an answer. Correct me please if i am wrong. Will the wiring sensors (built in stock)work if converted to all DC? If someone's aware of a knowledgeable person who could do this for me in Bangalore, I would appreciate the contact details.

What mods/ changes could keep my bike healthy all the time? Suggest me a good broader back tires.

    Regards,
    BilluRaj.

Dear member, Kindly use the Help Section for specific problems, not modification discussions... Its for problems only.

Ask your HID query here: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/universa...g-hid-etc.html, and confirm whether conversion to all DC is needed for this HID, or not. Don't go for AC/DC, it won't work.

If at all DC conversion is needed, You can check here for DC conversion of your specific model of Pulsar here: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/do-yours...ii-models.html

And for tyres, there's a specific thread here: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/universa...805-tyres.html
