  • p220 stock db killer

came across a video in which db killer was removed from stock exhaust and it was roaring like hell but in idealing it didnt sound good, the thing i wanted to know is what if we remove the db killer and cut it to half and insert it back, so now the exhaust note would have changed for sure, so im thinking to do this hence wanted to know if anyone have tried this also in case of emergency want to know the price of db killer btw think this will be better then k&n as we wont be worried of engine failure(correct me if im wrong)

    Dear member,

The dB killer is not supplied with a stock P220 exhaust as far as I know. Its supplied with exhausts made by Joel Joseph, Bangaluru. ([email protected]) or other such performance exhausts.

If you still cut your exhaust or modify it in any way, then scavenging will be affected and the bike will not perform optimally, in fact it will perform worse than stock, even if noise increases.

You have 2 good choices: Get a P220's only performance exhaust from any good manufacturers (Joel Joseph/ Raceconcepts, Automech exhausts- Mumbai, etc.)...
or keep your stock exhaust as it is.

And anyways, this is the wrong place to post your query, as this section is only for problems. Kindly post your query in the:
    P220 Ownership thread: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/motorcyc...dtsi-1064.html

    Or the Race-concepts P220 thread: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/pit-stop...0-goodies.html
