Why don't you go for the avenger's RR unit as the coil is also the same ?
I think it should fit your bike's wiring...
That starter relay is not related to any of these issues.

    @ Legendary PSR

Does the avenger's rr unit fit the old gen pulsars ?
As you are aware, every modification in a bike needs to be done with utmost care and UNDERSTANDING...if it is taken care of ..then like you did you can also mount a car Alternator to a bike..and the 100 watts HIDs..You know better in these matters since you had done it....you are known affectionately as Lightenstein ..remember ?

I havent seen 14 volts in Multimeter for my bike..!!!

Bro.. Thanx for sharing the link..!! I have gone through but unable to understand it completely...!!!

Thanx for sharing the pics of Rectifier..!! I think second one is close to my bikes Rectifier..!!! (But it is cement in colour)

IN the posted pic of my bike above, i think the Rectifier of my bike is Green colour..!! Any idea about it..????
Pulsars have not only gone through many models but also different models within the models...so I am at a loss to comprehend as to which RR or winding or wiring will exist in your bike....

      @PSR...

Thanx for making me go through more into electric stuff of my bike...!!!

I have taken pics of my Regulator...!!!
(Buddy then where is Rectifier..?? or Regulator is also called as Rectifier...??)

      Purpose of Regulator..??

Please find the pics of my bikes Regulator

      Part No: DJ 20 1102

      0705P (On back)

The end socket (plug) which came from my bikes Regulator is bit bigger and wider than the end socket of the Regulator pic you have posted (Cement coloured Regulator..!!!)

I have holded a wire with round metal end..!! It is connected to upper pole of regulator...!!! The other end of wire which i am holding went into some group of bunch wiring...!!!

      Waiting for your help..!!!

Yes you have found the Regulator rectifier unit of your bike...The stator coils of the bike generate AC voltage which is rectified to DC to charge the battery and other DC circuits..the AC voltage increases with RPM and so a Regulator circuit is also built in to take care of fluctuation in generation and limit the Out put voltage to 14.2 Volts + or - 0.5 volts.
The WHITE wire from the RR is connected to the battery always THROUGH a 10 amps fuse...
So with engine and ignition OFF check for + 12 v at this wire ..if it is not there then either the fuse is defective or there is break in circuit in between....

            @ Legendary PSR

Once me and a fellow Mumbai xbhpian were riding on a pulsar 180, with the avy coil and a bridge rectifier to make it all DC.
I was sitting at the back, and at a high speed i could feel the heat of the regulator beneath me.
It was hardly 20 seconds and the bike caught fire.
Basically the RR unit was conked off and the avy coil was supplying more than what the wiring could handle.

We were lucky to escape unhurt, but after such a terrible under the @$$ experience, I was doubtful...

It been very nice in concerning about my bikes problem buddy..!! Very much appreciate your help..!!

Thanx for explaining me about the RR

Thanx for sharing the video . I will check it out..!!!

mean while i had gone through some discussions, "Help:Powerful headlamps for my P200"

In that discussions our member "
abhijeet080808" in Page 5 said that

              "
The Avenger RR unit can carry the higher 60W load, while the Pulsar RR unit is designed for only 35W load and may be overloaded when used with a Avy stator coil."

So my doubt is my bike's Regulator is stock(which supports 35w) was gone beacuse i used a AVY coil supporting or generating 60w which transfers the same 60w to my puny 35w RR... Am i right..???

If so, can you share the information or Part number of AVY RR (180)..???
Can you share any experiences or threads discussing the same.!

It would be a great help for me.. Please i want to know about the AVY 180 RR unit..!!! (And if pic is available)

The fire was caused by a kaput RR unit which was supplying more voltage than it should. It caused the wires to overheat and ultimately burning the rubber sheet under the seat

Now i am waiting for information on AVY 180 RR if any body has...!!!

All that is required to diagnose had been already shared....if you are afraid to experiment, then you shouldn't have experimented with Avenger coils at all....first check for voltage at the RR then trace the wiring to locate the problem...I had given all of the info required...
Mr.Pavan and Abhijeet are the experts here...just follow their advice..

I think just changing the RR unit to avy one will end all of your problems.
Please don't worry about your bike getting caught in fire, that was a very worst case scenario where 2 RR units were used, and it was a Full DC setup.

Just buy and avenger's RR unit from any bajaj parts dealer, and get it installed from a mech.

Also as Legendary PSR said, pawan and abhijeet are the masters in this and both own Pulsars too, ask them before buying to confirm, as I don't have much detailed information on pulsars...

Sorry to have missed it, the conclusion is, your RR unit conked off using the avy coil, my friend's RR unit got conked off using the avy coil too, so as it is you need to change your RR unit, go for the avy one...

Yes, the RR needs to be changed to the Avenger one to handle the extra current. That will be the most reliable setup. The stock RR on a pulsar is designed to handle 35W on the headlight line whereas the avenger for 60W. Battery charging rate is more or less the same.
