  • P200 - Need new rear tyre suggestions.

My red Pulsar 200 is now 4 years old and has clocked around 20000 Km.
I don't know whether this time frame warrants a Tyre change or not, but my rear Tyre has been giving several issues.

It has not been able to hold air and the pressure drops to 13-14 even on the same day when I fill air in the tyre at the pump.
It's quite wobbly and unstable at speeds of even 40.
I have gotten it thoroughly checked for punctures atleast 3 times.

My mechanic says that the inner lining has gone bad and that I need to change the tyre.

    Questions -

Should I change both tyres ?
Should I go stock ? Same tyres as the factory ones ?
    Other brands / suggestions ?

    Thank you.

You can try reading my old signature, it has most bases covered and also has a link to tyre options for the P220. Since the tyre size is the same for both bikes, the same should work for you too.
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.
